The Super Network

I was reading an article in WIRED recently that brought a huge smile to my face. Here was the money line for me:

"Every major cable company is making investments to allow TV to be distributed over the Internet."

Just think about it: someday in the not-too-distant future, children will ask their parents what a TV was, and then later on, nobody will ask because nobody will care about TV.

If I were a program director at a major TV network, I would seriously think about a new model. The main stream media is yesterday's news...

Given how TV is being fundamentally altered by the Internet/World Wide Web today, is it any surprise that Google is raising additional capital?
